Refund and Cancellation Policy
The conditions for cancellation, automatic renewal and refund of subscriptions to Sabant Law.
1.Subscription model
Access to Sabant Law (the "Service") is offered through a recurring subscription, in monthly or annual periods, according to the plans and prices published at sabantlaw.com. Prices may be expressed in Dominican pesos (DOP) or United States dollars (USD) as indicated.
2.Payment processing
Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle manages invoicing, collection and consumption taxes (including ITBIS where applicable). By subscribing, you additionally accept the applicable Paddle terms.
3.Cancellation of the subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings or by writing to law@sabant.com. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: you retain access to the Service until that date and no subsequent charges will be made to you.
4.Automatic renewal
Unless previously cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period for an equivalent period, at the price in effect. To avoid the renewal charge, you must cancel before the renewal date.
5.Refund policy
As this is a subscription software service (SaaS) with immediate access, payments corresponding to periods already commenced are non-refundable, and no prorated refunds are made for the early cancellation of a current period. After cancelling, you retain access until the end of the period already paid.
6.Exceptions
We will evaluate refund requests on a case-by-case basis in situations such as duplicate charges, billing errors attributable to us or to Paddle, or where a refund is required by applicable law.
7.How to request a refund
To request a refund or manage your subscription, contact us at law@sabant.com or use the Paddle channels indicated on your purchase receipt. Where a refund is appropriate, it will be processed by Paddle to the payment method originally used.
8.Price changes
We may modify the prices of the Service by giving at least thirty (30) days' notice. The new prices will apply from the next renewal period; if you do not agree, you may cancel before such renewal.
9.Consumer rights
This Policy is interpreted without prejudice to the non-waivable rights that Dominican law recognizes for consumers, including Law No. 358-05, the General Law on the Protection of the Rights of the Consumer or User.
